Welcome Family,
Are we getting ready and prepared to make our way to join the rest of the family in Toledo, Ohio 2016? The arrangements are being prepared for you and me to enjoy. Hotel rooms have been blocked and you may now start to make your reservations at this time. All that will be participating in the reunion will be sent a registration form to fill out and sent back to me via email or mail so that I can get a head count for the food, t-shirts, and transportation.
The reunion dates are as follow July 15-17, 2016. On Friday, July 15, 2016 will be our meet and get acquainted session from 4-6pm, On Saturday, July 16, 2016 there will be time for our family to choose an activity i.e. shopping, outings to the different venues such as Toledo Zoo, Toledo Art Museum, Toledo Science Imagination Station, or Toledo Botanical Garden, etc. at 12 noon until 4pm a family picnic and activities will be at Trilby Park (3125 Shawnee Rd. Toledo, Oh 43613), then at 6:45-8pm we will gather back at the hotel Radisson Hotel( 3100 Glendale Avenue Toledo, OH 43614), for a memorial and dinner ceremony with photos being taken for our future reunions and then we will gather together to have a 70’s dance. Sunday, July 17, 2016 there will be church service at my church Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church located at 2102 Mulberry St for those that would like to get in a spiritual word before heading back to our final destinations.
My prayers are that we find time in our busy schedules to make this reunion and other future reunion s a special and non-forgetting experience that will carry memories forever and ever.
